Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market

SEASON OPENING of the Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market on Saturday May 28th! We look forward to welcoming the community back for another delicious season and showcasing many of the wonderful and unique products available right here in Puslinch and surrounding areas. Our vendors are eagerly planning and preparing for the season ahead to provide you with some of the region’s best farm-fresh foods, locally grown produce, and handmade goods. Grow with us, every Saturday 8am – 1pm from May 28th to until the end of October in the Optimist Recreation Centre.

Get creative with activity kits for all ages! Contents may include a hands-on activity, activity sheets, and suggestions for additional library resources. Quantities are limited. Pick up at your local branch on a first-come, first-served basis.


Join us virtually for live songs, stories, rhymes, and activities aimed at developing your child’s early literacy skills. Pre-registration is required to receive a kit and virtual meeting link.  If you would like to join us from another branch, please let the hosting branch know upon registration.

Township of Puslinch

PROPERTY TAX INSTALLMENT DUE DATE – February 28, 2022. Interim property tax bills will be mailed by February 1, 2022. The installment due dates are February 28, 2022 and April 29, 2022. Please contact if you have any questions.

SOCIAL MEDIA LAUNCH. The Township is excited to announce the launch of its corporate Facebook and Twitter pages, providing another way for the Township to deliver timely information to the public. A second Township Twitter account has launched dedicated solely to Puslinch Fire and Rescue.

The Township will be utilizing its social media platforms to share information with residents. The Township’s Website and its engagement platform will remain the primary way to contact Council, Committee Members and Staff regarding any inquires or feedback.

The following recreation amenities are temporarily CLOSED;

  • Optimist Recreation Centre Gymnasium
  • Optimist Recreation Centre washrooms and change rooms

The following recreation amenities are open;

  • Optimist Recreation Centre Rink; weather dependent (no access to change rooms and masks are mandatory for all on-ice activities)
  • Soccer and other sports fields
  • Baseball Diamonds
  • Picnic Shelter
  • Tennis courts
  • Basketball courts
  • Playgrounds
  • Trails

The use of all Township facilities by the public is to be in accordance with the physical separation directives issued by the Province. Individuals using these facilities, except for members of the same household, are required to maintain physical distancing of at least 2 metres or six feet. All gatherings or events must comply with all Provincial directives, as well as those of Wellington-Dufferin Guelph Public Health. We strongly encourage individuals utilizing available facilities to adhere to all physical distancing requirements.  Failure to do so, may result in the Township being directed to close facilities again. Enforcement concerns should be communicated to the OPP non-emergency number at 1-888-310-1122.

ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES. The Township of Puslinch partners with the Cambridge and District Humane Society for the following animal control services: dogs at large, injured dogs, injured cats, aggressive dogs, domestic animals that are deceased in the home, injured wildlife and exotic animals.
