Province Renames Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship

A new public notice is now live regarding the province renaming the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship.

On the second anniversary of the passing of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the provincial government is renaming the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship (OMGC) to the Queen Elizabeth II Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship (QUIIOMGC). The renaming of this provincial medal of merit celebrates the connection between those who are bestowed this honour and Her Late Majesty’s sense of duty and exemplary lifetime of service.
