Application for Appointment to County of Wellington Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee

The County of Wellington is seeking a Township of Puslinch Representative to join the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee. The community member must be actively involved with organizations for people with disabilities, be a caregiver for people with disabilities, or a person living with a disability by the Ontario Human Rights Code.

The Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee meets four times per year at the Aboyne Library (522 Wellington Road 18 RR1, Fergus, ON) or other locations agreed to by the Committee. Committee members will be compensated for mileage and per diem.

Mandate of Accessibility Advisory Committee

  • Advise all member Municipal Councils and the County on the prevention, identification and elimination of barriers faced by persons with disabilities.
  • Advise all member Municipal Councils and the County proper on other accessibility-related issues within the County.
