Permitted Uses, Septic, Zoning and/or Fire Compliance Letter

Processing time can take up to 5 business days for compliance requests.
What is included in each type of service?
Commercial/Industrial Zoning Compliance Letter Includes:
- Zoning of subject property under the current Zoning By-law
- A list of permitted uses for the subject property based on the applicable zoning
- Building information including Building Permits, Occupancy Permits (if applicable), Final inspections, and Outstanding Work Orders (if applicable)
- The status of registered site plan and securities
Note this does not include a title search
Residential/Agricultural Zoning Compliance Letter Includes:
- Zoning of subject property under the current Zoning By-law
- A list of permitted uses for the subject property based on the applicable zoning
- Information based on supplied survey (if survey supplied by applicant)
- Building information including Building Permits, Occupancy Permits (if applicable), Final inspections, and Outstanding Work Orders (if applicable)
Septic Compliance Letter Includes:
- Zoning of subject property under the current Zoning By-law
- Information based on supplied survey (if survey supplied by applicant)
- Septic information including Septic Permits, Final inspections, Use Permit, and Outstanding Work Orders (if applicable)
Permitted Use(s) Letter Includes:
- Zoning of subject property under the current Zoning By-law
- Information based on supplied survey (if survey supplied by applicant)
- Proposed use of subject property and justification of whether it is permitted under the current Zoning By-law
Fire Compliance Letter Includes:
- Outstanding orders in regards to fire regulations
- Outstanding deficiency notices
- Work orders on file
As these items pertain to matters relating to applicable Municipal by-laws, the Fire Protection and Prevention Act which includes the Ontario Fire Code and any similar Provincial legislation and regulations.
