Sunday Gun Hunting in Puslinch
Puslinch’s diverse and rich rural habitats provide opportunities for those wishing to participate in hunting seasons throughout the year.
Effective September 1, 2025, an amendment to Ontario Regulation 663/98 under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997 has been made to permit Sunday gun hunting in the Township of Puslinch. All applicable rules and regulations that gun hunters are required to follow Monday to Saturday apply to gun hunting on Sunday.
If a person wants to hunt of private property, expression permission must be provided by the property owner. Ministry Conservation Officers and the Ontario Provincial Police continue to enforcing all applicable laws and regulations as it relates to hunting and related activities.
Hunting on Public Lands
- Conservation Halton and Hamilton Conservation Authority do not permit any hunting activities on their conservations lands.
- Grand River Conservation Authority does permit hunting on Bond Track in the Township, located on Concession 1 and Sideroad 10 South.
Respect for other users of public lands should be exercised.
