Open Air Burn Permit (Fire Permit) Application

As per By-law 45-14, an open air burn permit will only be issued to those properties that meet the 15m setback requirement (from any building, structure, hedge, fence, Highway or overhead wire). By using the Township of Puslinch’s online Open Air Burning Permit (Fire Permit) service, you agree to the Township of Puslinch Open Air Burning Permit Terms and Conditions. Please read the Terms and Conditions prior to submission.

*Open Air Burning Permits are valid for the current calendar year in which they are issued. All permits expire December 31st of the current calendar year.

Release and Indemnity

In consideration of the granting of a permit by the Township to conduct open air burning: I hereby release and forever discharge and agree to indemnify and save harmless the Township of Puslinch and it’s servants and agents from any and all actions, cause of action, claims and demands, loss or injury to persons or property sustained by any person or persons in consequence of open air burning to be held on the above stated dates and locations, said burning to be the subject matter of the above application.

Protection of Privacy

Personal information on this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act and the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, as amended and will be used to determine the eligibility for a permit. The information is used for the purpose of processing this application and administering the legislation and is maintained in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Questions regarding the collection of this information may be directed to the Township Clerk’s Office.
By submitting this permit, I (the Applicant) agree to comply to all conditions of this permit, By-law No. 45/14, as amended and applicable guidelines as indicated and shall ensure compliance and agree to be accountable. The Applicant agrees the Open Air Burning Permit is only valid once the permit has been paid for in full and printed by the Applicant. The permit shall be kept in the location as identified in the application.
