Community Improvement Grant Application

Thank you for your interest in the Township of Puslinch (Township) Community Improvement Plan (CIP). Please refer to the Township’s CIP for detailed program eligibility criteria, submission requirements, and terms and conditions.

An applicant may be eligible for multiple grants during the term of this CIP; however, the total combined value of grants provided by the Township in any 12-month period shall not exceed $7,500 per property or the total eligible project cost, whichever is less.

Applications for financial incentives will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the funding approved for that year. Applications will be prioritized based on the completeness and quality of the information submitted.

Prior to Submitting an Application

Professional assistance from architects, engineers, planners, designers, or other qualified consultants may be required for complex projects.

  • All proposed work must comply with applicable municipal policies, zoning by-laws, urban design guidelines, heritage requirements, building regulations, and any other applicable legislation.
  • Required planning approvals and building permits must be obtained where applicable.
  • Any outstanding work orders, property standards issues, or arrears/unpaid accounts affecting the subject property must be resolved prior to grant approval or addressed as part of the proposed project.
  • Work commenced prior to written grant approval is not eligible for funding.

Additional information may be requested by the Township during review.
