Effective Friday November 15, 2024 the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) have gone on a national strike, affecting mail and parcel delivery services. No new items are being accepted until the national disruption is over.
Inspection Forms must be completed once a month at the end of the month. When completing the inspections the worker representative will identify hazards and rate them in accordance with the Hazard Rating Priority Level below. Any items that can be corrected during the inspection should be and the correction should be noted in the recommended action section as completed at time of inspection.
Hazard Rating Priority Level:
A – Any condition or practice with potential disability, loss of life/body part and/or extensive loss of structure/equipment or material to be corrected within 1 to 12 hours B – Any condition or practice with potential for serious injury/illness or property damage that is disruptive but less severe than “A” rating. To be corrected within 12 to 48 hours C – Any condition or practice with potential for non-disabling injury/illness, or non-disruptive property damage to be corrected within 48 to 96 hours or longer, if necessary
