Township of Puslinch Ends Significant Weather Event

The Township of Puslinch is ending its Significant Weather Event declared on Sunday February 16^th 2025 at 11:00 A.M. The event is ending as of 4:30 p.m. on February 24, 2025.  

Special thanks to all the snow and sidewalk plow operators and staff who have been working diligently keeping the roads and sidewalks cleared during this weather event.

What is a Significant Weather Event?

A municipality can declare a Significant Weather Event when a weather hazard is approaching or occurring and has the potential to pose a significant danger to users of roads and sidewalks. This allows Township operations additional time to address the significant weather event and remain in-compliance with the Minimum Maintenance Standards regulation (Ontario Regulation 239/02 as amended).
