Notice of Application to Rename Swastika Trail
TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the Municipal Street Naming Policy 2022-006 Notice being provided to all property owners on the street proposed to be renamed. The purpose and effect of this notice is to seek feedback either in support or opposition of the application. This Notice includes:
- written rational prepared by the Applicant in respect to the proposed street renaming;
- an option for the Notice recipient to indicate an objection to the proposed street renaming;
- an opportunity for the Notice recipient to opt into the financial aid distribution;
- prepaid postage envelope to return to the Township with
AND TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Township of Puslinch will consider the street renaming request at its regular Council Meeting on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 10:00 am. All Council meetings are held by electronic participation via Zoom. Attendees can register for the meeting through the Townships website www.puslinch.ca. Registering for the meeting does not constitute registering to delegate to Council on the matter.
ORAL OR WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS may be made by the public either in support or in opposition of the renaming application. All persons must register to delegate no later than Tuesday September 27, 2022 by 10 a.m. Delegate requests can be submitted online at puslinch.ca/forms/delegate-request/. Written comments will be received no later than Tuesday September 27, 2022 by 10 a.m. to be included for Council’s consideration at the Council meeting.
THE SUBJECT STREET is municipally known as Swastika Trail. The subject street is shown on the inset map. In accordance with the Municipal Street Naming Policy, all property owners on the subject street are being notified of the street renaming application.
TAKE NOTICE if an objection is not submitted either in writing or by delegating to Council, the recipient will be considered to be in agreement with the proposed renaming request.
REQUEST FOR NOTICE OF DECISION regarding the Zoning By-law amendment must be made in written format to the Township Clerk at the address shown below.
