The Christian Morlock House was built in 1882, called “Stoneleigh”. Stone Victorian villa. With a significant and high degree of craftsmanship by stone mason Otto Rappolt. Original ornamentation. Historically and contextually associated with Morriston founding families: Winer, Morlock, and Calfas whose properties are adjacent and neighbouring Morlock residences were built on the same lot.
